Grammy-nominated artiste Asake has officially unveiled his latest single, “Active,” featuring Travis Scott. The track cleverly incorporates a hook sampled from the iconic Adewale Ayuba, adding a distinctive touch to the vibrant collaboration.
Accompanying the release is a visually striking music video, directed by Edgar Esteves, Joshua Valle, and Nikita Vilchinski, which premiered on YouTube at midnight and has already amassed over 3,000 views and counting. The song is produced by Sarz and plugged by Olaitan Salaudeen for YBNL Nation.
“Active” serves as a teaser from Asake’s highly anticipated sophomore album, “Lungu Boy,” set to drop on August 9, 2024. Known for his electrifying performances, the YBNL/Empire artiste has been captivating audiences worldwide, with his most recent sold out show taking place in London on September 21.
